These are the side buckles and attachment piece on the side of the armor. 3D printed versions are not strong enough if you hook the ammo pouch to them. These are cast as one piece in hard rubber with an imbedded bolt on connection. They are cast in black so all you need to do is add some silver highlights to the buckles to make them look like metal.

Fiberglass Armor Kits and Resin parts
All of our fiberglas armor kits are laid up by hand and resin prints are hand poured because all of these parts are "low run" specialized parts. We try to be very careful in the layup process to eliminate bubbles or imperfections, but these do happen. Filling in or smoothing small bubbles or sanding imperfections is part of the prep process before the parts are painted. If you do receive a part which you think has too many flaws, contact us and we will work with you to either repair the part or get you a new one.

These are certainly thick and durable, but they have the same problem with most adhesives as the shoulder straps do. Any advice would be appreciated.

These are excellent. They require a bit of trimming, as they are about 50% too thick, but they are very strong and well crafted.
